Rail (High Speed) Civil Design Specialist - Latvia

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is supporting a Major International Consultancy with a recently awarded High Speed Rail project in Latvia who require a Civils Design Specialist.

Opportunity & Responsibilities:

The role shall be working as part of an International Joint Venture delivering the Civil components (Track, embankment, Tunnels, Bridge, Station) for this new Passenger & Freight line.

As Design Team Leader the successful individual shall be working closely with the external design consultant, end client & contractors to manage & co-ordinate the design and ensure the successful delivery.

Key requirements for the role:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
• 10 years as railway designer
• 1+ project of 50 KM as lead railway designer
• Lead Design processes on previous projects including during construction.
• Regional & High-Speed Rail experience would be beneficial but not essential.
• Chartership with a European Institution would be beneficial.

Salary Package:

The salary on offer for this position is around €8-10,000 per month with a package including accommodation, insurance and expatriate benefits.
