We currently have exciting opportunity for a career minded individual to join one of the leading railway telecoms contractors in the UK who are currently seeking Senior Design Engineer working as a Contractor's Responsible Engineer (or looking to achieve CRE status) with experience of station systems including CCTV, Customer Information and Public Address This role can be based in the Midland or in thier London offices. You will be working as part of a small, multi-skilled technical team, you will be responsible for undertaking all technical aspects of the preparation of telecommunications bid proposals, delivery of design packages and implementation of system designs for the Mainline and Metro Rail markets as well as being able to direct other members of the team in the production of design packages. This role will be Mainly office based although travel will be required to other offices and site visits.

To be successful in this role it is envisaged that you will have and be able to demonstrate the following experience
Experience of Station Management Systems, particularly CCTV, Customer Information Systems and Displays and Public Address
Approved Telecoms CRE status (or working towards it or a strong desire to achieve it)
Working knowledge of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) to ensure designs conform
IRSE Engineering Manager status desirable (but not essential)
