We are currently working with a leading engineering consultancy who are looking to develop their engineering team in York by recruiting a Senior E&P Design Engineer who could work on some of the UKs leading engineering projects, such as TRU and HS2 working on specifically low voltage projects such as Signaling Power.

As a Senior Electrical and Plant Design Engineer your main duties and responsibilities will be and are not limited to:

- Deliver on E&P/MEP projects
- The design delivery of key E&P/MEP Projects
- Ensuring Projects are completed to clients standards
- Act as CRE on projects
- Ensuring Projects are completed to the agreed project programme
- Ensure Projects are completed to the agreed budget
- Providing technical leadership to the less experience E&P Design Engineers
- Plan the Project Works
- Provide forward view resource forecasting to enable allocation of suitable resources

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:

- Considerable E&P design engineering experience, specifically low voltage projects
- Been exposed to rail and/or infrastructure engineering industries
-     Considerable professional experience and expertise to manage complex or non-standard design solutions.
-     Good understanding of CSM/CDM regulations and requirements
-     Good communication and presentation skills
-     Team competence and leadership experience
-     Strong experience and command of Design software


-       Ideally Chartered, or actively working towards it with equivalent experience
