South West, commutable from Cardiff, Newport, Swindon, Bristol, Bath, Chippenham, Gloucester and Oxford.

£40,000-£50,000 per annum, dependant on experience and level, plus package.

To be suitable for the position you must have
-Proven experience in a Track Design Engineer role.
-A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in a relevant engineering area.
-MEng/BEng (or equivalent) degree and significant relevant experience,
-Achieved CEng / IEng status (for salaries over 50k)
-Good underpinning knowledge of track engineering design principles
Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have
-Membership of (or working towards) the Permanent Way Institution
Role Information
To provide excellent track design capability to track and other rail projects. To provide high quality engineering skills and technical knowledge of track engineering. Responsible for the production or checking of detailed track designs and calculations. Responsible for outline and detailed track engineering design input and calculations (concepts / track design principles) to multidisciplinary design teams on other large or medium sized projects.
