UK subsidiary of one of the world s leading total transit solutions organisations seeks to employ a Signalling Design professional with experience of leading teams, whether in a management position or team leader role, in the position of Signalling Design Delivery Manager based in Derby.

This is a new role where the Signalling Design Delivery Manager will support the Signalling Design Engineering Manager with the management and mentorship of a team of 40 Design Engineers. You will join an expanding business that offer total transit systems solutions on the international market. With a strong order book of complex rail signalling projects to work on cutting edge technologies to work with this a fantastic opportunity. As Signalling Design Delivery Manager you will be responsible for managing a design team in the safe execution of signalling design activities required to deliver signalling projects. You will provide technical leadership to the design teams and interfacing with all signalling and project management teams. You will have a proactive and practical approach to resource management, often accepting CEM/CRE duties.

To be considered for the position of Signalling Design Delivery Manager candidates will ideally hold a Signalling Design Manager (1.1.145) or Engineering Manager license (1.1.150) or, by close to obtaining them. Candidates who hold a Verifiers (1.1.160v5) license and have leadership experience will also be considered. You will have leadership experience whether it be line management or project based and enjoy working with interesting people.

In return the Signalling Delivery Manager will be rewarded with a basic salary of between £70,000 - £80,000 accompanied with a company car, annual bonus, and pension with employer s contributions up to 10% and 25 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays.
