Job Role / Responsibilities
A Multi-disciplinary Consultancy is looking for a Rail Alignment & Track Manager as lead designer on several Metro & Freight projects throughout Australia.

My client is seeking a qualified and experienced Rail Alignment & Track Consultant to provide expert advice and consultancy services. This role requires strong technical background in a multi-disciplinary consulting environment for the rail industry. The successful applicant will be a team member also contributing to large scale urban rail projects throughout Sweden. The person will also be assisting developing business by increasing the current client base and furthering client relationships through identifying opportunities for future works and services.

Location
The Rail Alignment & Track Manager can be situated along several office locations Sweden. Numerous reasons why living and moving to Sweden can be an amazing lifestyle change.

Salary Package
£6000 - £7000 per month with other small benefits

Requirements
*Alignment optioneering and development into drawing demonstration.
*Track Design consultancy for rail system integration
*Assist in the development of internal practices in support of Rail integration across all disciplines.
*Participate in Tender activity.
Essential Criteria
*Experience in Alignment & Track Design for LRT, Metro, High Speed and/or Freight railways
*Experience in the analysis and documentation of rail engineering works and processes from Feasibility and Design to Implementation and Client Handover.
*Working knowledge of Bentley Rail Track (from alignment design through to preparation of drawings)
*Good general knowledge of railway systems, operations and their interfaces with track
*Good general knowledge of supporting civil infrastructure (e.g. tunnels, viaducts, earthworks)
*Detailed Permanent Way design experience preferable ( e.g. design and specification of components, and track systems)
*XML/HTML/Java experience useful (for customizing BRT outputs)
*Demonstrate ability to analyse rail track designs to determine safety requirements.
*Extensive experience working in a similar position.
*Prepared and able to travel throughout Sweden
