We are urgently looking for an experienced Telecoms Design Engineer for one of or main clients within the rail industry. Ideally to be placed in the Yorkshire area however the successful candidate can work out off one off their other offices in the UK. As the successful applicant you will be responsible for the delivery of the engineering design aspects of Fixed Telecoms tenders and projects within agreed timescales and budgeted costs.

Your Responsibilities will be but not limited to the following
Delivery of Fixed Telecoms engineering designs / activities to the agreed time, cost, quality, safety and performance requirements.
Lead Fixed Telecoms engineering tasks to deliver system development and implementation, including sub-contractors where applicable.
Produce Fixed Telecoms engineering technical and Health and Safety documentation deliverables to meet project requirements.
Plan, co-ordinate and manage Fixed Telecoms engineering tasks including resources and equipment in order to deliver tasks effectively and efficiently.
Regularly report Fixed Telecoms engineering task progress and status.

To be considered for this role you must have the following qualifications
HNC/HND or equivalent in relevant subject
Incorporated Engineer or equivalent status.
IRSE License in relevant category (Telecoms Design)
An engineering background with previous experience in a relevant Telecoms engineering environment with in rail.
Network Rail Personal Track Safety competency (PTS)
