Document Controller in East London, London, United Kingdom
Document Controller required to join a large high profile rail contractor to be based on a site in Central London working on a project that will completely blow your mind! You will work closely with the project director and support another document controller on the project.
12 MONTH CONTRACT
Rate varies between £15-£21ph LTD (up to £15ph PAYE) depending on experience

Responsibilities:
- Creating, formatting and updating documents using Microsoft packages
- Support the company directors as required including diary bookings, organising travel, taking meeting minutes, collating reports, maintaining office supplies, making refreshments
- Managing and administrating the document collaboration system
- Up/downloading documentation onto EDMS
- Assist the Assurance Manager and Assurance Engineers with the development, install and implementation of certification into a system for receiving, collating, indexing, filing and lock downs.
- Establishment and maintenance of central site files, drawings and registers
- Quality checking of documents to ensure they meet client and company standards
- Provide adhoc administrative support to all the teams
- Monitor all incoming calls dealing with all enquiries in an efficient and proactive manner
- To expedite all outstanding documentation, certification as identified in the outstanding issues log / punch lists for each IRN delivery package.
- To track and record status of each certification dossier
Successful candidates must have:
- Previous experience working on site or in a project office
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong IT skills in MS Office including Outlook, Excel, Word
- The ability to multitask
- Good attention to detail
