Have you worked as an Document Controller and want to develop your skills? Have you worked within the Rail & Infrastructure market before?
A leading contractor within the Rail market is looking for a Document Controller to join their team. They need someone who is capable of joining a DC team and able to hit the ground running; you will be based in their site office, working with the team day to day. Dealing with all office support needs and helping to upload and check documents; you will need experience dealing with filling documents on excel and using asite and 4projects.

The project is a permanent opportunity paying £30,000 based in Blythe, Northumberland.

Responsibilities:
- Use EDMS systems - to upload / download documents / drawings
- Managing a team
- Having a civils and construction understanding and background
- Updating and maintaining site files
- It will also involve some WAD administration duties
- Visit other sites
- Quality checking documents and drawings
- Liaising with different teams
- Dealing with a multitude of different documents
- Accumulating data and statistics for monthly reports
- Assisting with Handover files
- Ad hoc duties
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in EDMS systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Willing to do general admin and Ad Hoc duties
- Strong IT skills in MS Office including Outlook, Excel / Word
- The ability to multitask and have high attention to detail
- Experience in the Construction Industry / working on-site would be a bonus
