Document Controller in Leeds, United Kingdom
Purpose
To provide administrative, documentation and clerical support to the Contract and Project Management Teams.
· Assist with the distribution of Integrated Management System documents.
· Assist with the management, production, issuing and distribution of Project documentation, including controlled documents such as Work Package Plans, Inspection & Test Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, Specifications, Drawings, and records of transmissions retained.
· Enter and update entries into relevant Document Management Systems.
· So far as possible, ensure Quality Control and Asset Management documents are retained in a structured filing system such that they are protected from loss of integrity, loss of confidentiality and improper use.
· Provide tutorial briefings on the usage of the tools/applications used by the Project Team i.e. Bentley ProjectWise, MS Excel, MS Word.
· Assist in the production of reports, as required.
· To ensure documents are appropriately approved for adequacy, prior to use)
· To ensure that changes and the current revision status of documents are identified.
· To ensure that relevant versions of applicable documents are available at point of use.
· To ensure that documents of external origin are identified, registered/uploaded and their distribution controlled. This also applies to EiS (Entry into Service) and other critical project stages.
· Maintain an archive of superseded documentation for reference whilst preventing unintended use of obsolete documents, and to suitably identify them as such if they are retained for any purpose.
Relevant Key Processes:
This role will comply with all relevant Network Rail Standards, Amey Group Standards and procedures, British Standards and European standards, as applicable to the role and activities undertaken.

Specific Safety Responsibilities
