Document Controller in Southwark, London, United Kingdom
A Specialist Engineering Contractor based in Southwark, London is seeking a Document Controller to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a dynamic and forward-thinking company with an excellent reputation in the industry.
Location: Southwark, London
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000!
Hours: Monday - Friday in the Office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the document control system and ensuring all documents are correctly identified, classified, and filed.
- Issuing and distributing documentation to relevant parties in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of all documents, including technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Ensuring all documentation is up to date and in compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
- Archiving and retrieving documents as needed.
- Liaising with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth document flow.
- Assisting in the preparation of project reports and presentations as required.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Previous experience in a document control role within an engineering or construction environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document control software.
- Understanding of engineering and construction terminology and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
