The Company

Our client is a World-Famous specialist in the modification, overhaul and servicing of Rolling Stock and look after a variety of well-known clients throughout the country. Employing well over 150 people in the UK they are winning work like there’s no tomorrow and have contracts to carry out long term servicing and exam work as well as a whole host of mods. The time has come to welcome some additional, experienced personnel to this traditional company to enable them to fulfil their contracts.

The overhauls project will see you focus on the electrical aspect of the role which involves wiring, looming, testing, fault finding, connecting and disconnecting of existing systems such as control systems, CCTV, DOORS, PIS, TPWS and many more. Time is key as the project will be moving at a fast pace which will require deadlines to be met.

What do I need to be considered for this contract?

It’s as simple as this…to join the team, you will be an experienced Electrical Fitter who has a strong working electrical engineering background within rolling stock, navy, forces, RAF, army, aerospace, FMCG or automotive and hold a Level 3 engineering qualification and be able to demonstrate your skills to a high standard.

What’s in it for me?

When joining our client, Electrical Fitters will be rewarded with an hourly rate of £20 per hour, 40 hours per week with contracted hours of Monday – Friday 7am – 15:30pm and the flexibility to work alternative shift of 13:30pm – midnight and overtime being available on a 1-year initial contract.
