Role:
An opportunity has come available for a Electrical Project Engineer to joining a specialist Electrical and telecoms contractor within the rail industry.
This would be a great opportunity for a candidate who is looking to progress into a Project Engineering position or someone who is looking to continue their development within the rail environment.
The successful candidate will come from an electrical background and have strong knowledge across LV electrical systems within the rail or similar environment.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide technical support to the project teams for electrical engineering issues throughout the full life cycle of the project
- Assist in the design stages offering technical support and ensuring compliance with with industry standards and regulations.
- conduct site visits to oversee the installation and commissioning of the electrical systems and producing solutions to any technical issues.
- Prepare project documentation including technical and site reports.
Essential Requirements:
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering and installation
- Experience with electrical systems across rail, industrial or commercial projects.
