Rail Electrical Engineering Manager - NEOM, Saudi Arabia

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is working closely with a leading International Consultancy firm who are requiring an Electrical Engineering Managers for the Design & Engineering of stations for the NEOM megaproject in Saudi Arabia.

Project information:

NEOM is the largest project anywhere in the world at this moment. This $500billion project to create a sustainable city on the Red Sea in Northwest Saudi Arabia will consist of 170km Rail connection linking various communities including an Industrial City, world-class destinations and Sustainable Developments.

The project shall be entirely self-sufficient power by Wind & Solar energy and completely car free.

The role:

The successful individual shall be joining an experienced international team responsible for a Major Stations package of works throughout the design, engineering, assurance and then possibly the construction supervision of the Stations on the project.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified candidate in Electrical or related subject
• 15+ years in Electrical Engineering and Design on major Infrastructure Projects
• 7+ years specifically on Railway Stations and Buildings (Depots, Facilities, OCC, etc.)
• Experience in LV / MV Electrical Systems Designs and Distribution
• Experience in leading and developing technical engineering teams
• Experience in the rail safety and assurance process and necessary engineering standards such as CENELEC
• Excellent communicator with strong client facing skills
• Experience working for an Engineering Consultancy is preferred but not essential
• Availability to relocate to Saudi Arabia
