Our client, leading the design, build, support and management of digital
infrastructure now has an exciting opportunity for a new Access Control Engineer.
You will have the opportunity to be a part of something bigger with our client.
In your new role you’ll be reporting to the Access and Security Team Leader. You
will be responsible for carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance activities
within the access, security and depot maintenance business area.
It’s worth noting that our client will offer a tube pass for the travel involved with this
role.
Responsibilities of this role:

• You’ll provide technical expertise on access, security and control, CCTV and depot systems under maintenance.
• You’ll provide efficient and effective fault resolution.
• You’ll support the team leader in day-to-day operations and fault rectification.
• You’ll embody safe working practices into every aspect of field operations.
• You’ll attend weekly meetings arranged by the Team Leader
• You’ll attend major incidents visiting sites and following through to conclusion

Key requirements:

• Experience of maintaining access control and security systems
• Previous experience in access and security, CCTV and control supporting the
• business
• Experience of maintaining closed circuit television systems.
• Computer literate, familiar with application software such as Windows, Word, Excel etc.
• HNC/HNC or equivalent in an appropriate discipline. Depth and breadth of
• experience will be taken into account where these qualifications have not been attained.
