Asset Engineer - Inside IR35

As an Asset Engineer your main responsibilities will be:
- Acting as the focal point for best practice & technical advice in lifts & escalators.
- Acting as sponsor for complex & specialist maintenance & all renewal schemes.
- Liaising with stakeholders for asset management purposes to promote availability & reduce impacts.
- Providing support for incident / technical investigation & analysis and for capability & performance assessment of options & designs.
- Supporting the delivery of activities required by Network Rail policy & standards.
- Supporting the development of work to agreed operation processes / strategy / product & asset development.
- Identifying & prioritising actions to address defects & deliver corrective actions / undertaking analysis & risk assessments.
You’ll have relevant experience in:
- Minimum of a HNC / HND qualification in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Built Environment experience – Construction / Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Lift & escalator experience & knowledge.
- Expert communication skills – ability to engage with & manage stakeholders.
- An understanding of budget management & relevant policies and standards.
- Rail experience (Desirable)
- Incorporated Engineer / Chartered Engineer (Desirable)
