As a Asset Engineer, your main responsibilities would be:
- Lead the requirements for examination and undertake evaluation, assessment and risk management of geotechnical assets. Manage compliance of examination and evaluation of geotechnical assets against requirements of standards.
- Provide engineering input to the standards and specifications for earthworks examinations and assessments.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate asset records.
- Direct the implementation of monitoring systems and undertake the review of monitoring results and other control measures.
- Provide support to the production and prioritisation of the route business plan. Support the Senior Earthworks and Drainage Management Engineer in producing remits for investment schemes.
You’ll have relevant experience in:
- Geotechnical asset examination and assessment
- Construction Design and Management Regulations
- Safety management systems and risk assessment techniques
You will also have these Qualifications/Skills:
- HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent geotechnical qualification
- Incorporated or Chartered Engineer
