Senior Asset Engineer (Building & Civils) Inside IR35
Contract Term: 6 Months

Network Rail High Speed are responsible for the operations, maintenance and renewal of the UK's only High Speed railway (HS1), including all railway system assets and the Grade 1 listed historic station St Pancras International.
As a Senior Asset Engineer, your main responsibilities would be:
- Discharging day-to-day asset management activities and contribute to the development of route strategies and the prioritised workbank including the development and maintenance of route asset management plans.
- Manage the inclusion of allocated items into appropriate programmes and monitor through to completion, including approval of programme changes.
- Work with the commercial team to set up appropriate contract frameworks, reviewing inspection reports to identify work requirements and providing technical input into capital projects.
- Lead the provision of civil engineering input to enhancement projects such that they are specified and accepted in accordance with company asset policies and standards.
- Provide technical briefings associated with civil systems engineering to engineers in delivery units in order that the purpose, as well as the content of standards, specification, etc. is understood.
You’ll have relevant experience in:
- Civil engineering, and knowledge of maintenance of assets.
- Ensuring asset meet policy, technical, safety and performance standards.
- Safety management systems and risk assessment techniques.
You will also have these Qualifications/Skills:
- Chartered/ Incorporate Engineer status.
- Degree in Civil Engineer or similar subject.
- Great communication.
