Asset Protection Engineer Inside IR35
Contract Term: 5 Months

Location: Remote with travel to site in the Thames Valley

As an Asset Protection Engineer your main key responsibilities would be to:
- Lead compliance with Network Rail engineering driven safety requirements and provide technical advice, conditions and approvals consistent with Network Rail policies and standards on allocated projects. Projects include third party bridge renovations, station enhancements and domestic projects.
- Manage the mitigation of engineering and safety risk to the railway associated with proposed and real time outside and third party activities.
- Assess and review all outside and third party schemes for compliance with current legislation, including Construction Design Management (CDM) Regulations.
Essential:
- Technical Qualification to HNC/ HND Level, preferably in a Civil, Mechanical or Signalling discipline.
- Previous experience in the management of outside and third party activities and mitigation of risk.
- Successful relevant experience in engineering disciplines, ideally with involvement in construction and design projects across multi discipline areas.
- Experience in the Rail sector.
Desirable
- Experience completing duties of a Designated Project Engineer.
