We are currently working with one of the industrys leading Engineering consultancies who are looking to expand their transportation unit. This would be working on major projects within Highways and Rail by recruiting a Bridge Engineer in Leeds.  

Currently in terms of projects you would principally operate within the Rail Structure and Bridge environment on significant Route upgrade, enhancements and renewals project and frameworks. There may be opportunity to support the wider bridge and civil structures team beyond the rail environment.

As the Bride Engineer you shall play an active role in all stages of a project from scheme design through to construction design, and feasibility design being supported by a wider team and working with and supporting fellow Bridge Engineers and technicians to undertake tasks and produce project deliverables. 

This could be an excellent opportunity for a Graduate or Assistant Bridge Design Engineer looking to make that next step up. This position is based in Leeds West Yorkshire, so could suite candidates within the surrounding York, Sheffield and Bradford regions.  
 
Job Requirements  

• Experience working on Bridges, Civil or Rail/Highways structure within a design consultancy environment 
• Familiar with such software such as Superstress, Robot, SAM Leap, Staad Pro, Midas, Tedds or similar
• Knowledge of the Eurocodes
• Graduate member of the ICE or Istructe and have made a start on Chartership with aspirations to become a Chartered Engineer
