Our Basingstoke team has an established reputation for producing high-quality and economical designs across a wide spectrum of civil engineering structures. They specialise in the design of bridges and major civil engineering structures, predominantly for contractor clients. We are looking for an experienced Bridge and Structural Engineer to join our team. We have a growing capability in the management of existing structural assets in the rail and highways environment. Our current major projects include the A303 Stonehenge road scheme, A27 Arundel Bypass, Thames Tideway and Network Rail CAFA.
You will be based in the Basingstoke office and will be part of the experienced Bridges and Structures team, as well as the wider multi-disciplinary office, designing new build schemes and undertake the inspection and assessment of existing structures. This will give you the opportunity to work with a wide range of structures in a variety of environments and for a variety of clients.
Minimum Requirements
Your experience will include a detailed understanding of the design process and interfacing with multiple disciplines, and you are dedicated to good quality engineering. You have a good knowledge and understanding of structural mechanics and fundamental engineering principles. Thinking creatively is an important attribute and solving structural engineering problems quickly and efficiently.

Good knowledge of design to Eurocodes

Detailed understanding of the design process and interfacing with multiple disciplines

Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or equivalent
