Bridge Resident Engineer (Portuguese Speaking) - Africa

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking an experienced Bridge Resident Engineer with experience of Concrete Bridges and fluent in Portuguese for an upcoming project in Africa.

Opportunity:

This leading European consultancy have projects throughout Africa and the world as well as a proven track record of delivering high standard projects. You would be joining the project from the beginning hence playing a key role in the successful delivery.

Responsibilities:

As Resident Engineer the successful expert shall be responsible for all elements of the construction of this new structure including piling, reinforced & precast concrete elements as well as all temporary works and supervising the lifting process. You shall be working as part of an international reporting directly to the client.

Key requirements for the role:

• Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related subject (ideally M.Sc.)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in structural engineering works
• 3+ years leading Bridge Projects
• Regional and Sub-tropical experience is essential.

Salary Package:

The salary package on offer is flexible as this is a new scheme my client is currently establishing the budget for each positions however a full expatriate package including Flights, accommodation etc. is offered.
