This company is one of the largest and busiest online grocery retailers with over 500,000 customers using their services every year. They have been established for over 15 years within the UK and currently employ well over 10,000 employees nationwide. With the need for online services becoming more popular in the UK they have seen their business growing steadily over the last few years. This means the company is expanding to deal with the demand of the customers. They have various distribution centres all over the UK and are looking for great Control Engineers to join their business!

ABOUT THE JOB

The site that you would be required to work on is a busy and face paced environment that has various pieces of large industrial machinery that you would be required to conduct technical fault finding on and look at in depth PLC work. This could include writing programmes, fault finding and making modifications. The company is growing and expanding so they need more Control Engineers to deal with the large demand of work.

THE IDEAL CANDIATE

This role will suit you if you enjoy working in a fast-paced challenging environment with endless ways to use your problem-solving skills. You will be an electrically biased engineer who has a good solid knowledge of Siemens PLCs. You be required to fault find, programme and modify on PLCs.

THE REQUIREMENTS

You’re the Controls Engineer I’m looking for if you are an electrically biased engineer who has experience conducting planned and reactive maintenance on heavy industrial equipment. This could be in a food manufacturing environment or plant equipment! You must have experience working on Siemens PLC. You will be required to work shifts.

THE SALARY

£46,000 + Performance based bonus between 5-10%
