My client is looking to recruit a strong E&P Engineer CRE. This is a permanent position covering projects in the South West. Salary on offer is dependent on experience and is negotiable. Along with a competitive salary you will also have a car allowance and bonus.

Main duties will to be act as E&P/MEP Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE) and or Lead Engineer on E&P/MEP projects

Ensuring projects are completed to meet all client's requirements and applicable standards

Ensuring projects are completed to the agreed project programme

Ensuring projects are completed to the agreed budget.

Plan the project works and provide forward view resource forecasting to enable the team leader to allocate suitable resource to the projects.

Identify changes to the projects client requirements and raise the changes with the Project Management Team

The Principal E&P Engineer will be accountable for the design delivery of allocated E&P/MEP Projects

This role requires considerable professional experience and expertise in order to manage complex or non-standard design solutions

Management of an E&P/MEP team of engineers on allocated projects

Maintaining good relationships with principal engineers from other internal discipline teams

Desirable knowledge and skills

Detailed knowledge of Electrical Design within the Railway Environment including Signalling Power, Points Heating, Junction Lighting, Station Building Services

Carried out the role of Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE) on projects and is recognised as a CRE within the industry

Detailed knowledge multi- disciplinary interfaces associated with E&P & MEP designs in a railway environment
