Senior ELV Installation Engineer
Tasks Coordinate the communications installation works with the installation manager.
Liaison on a daily basis with the installation team and on occasions with the client as directed by the
installation manager.
Reporting of daily progress and any notifiable incidents or accidents.
Be safety cautious in terms of method statements and safe systems of work.
Inspecting works daily, documenting any snagging items or installation defects for inclusion in the Master
Snag List.
Managing snag items through to completion.
Coordination of site materials and logistics with the installation contractor.
Undertake site surveys and inspection.
Participate in ITP witnessing as and when directed.
Dealing with any site specific queries - escalating unresolved issues where appropriate.
Ensuring that all method statements and drawings used on site are the latest and up to date.
Manage the access to the site with the site management.
Follow the schedule and targets set in order to finish the works on time, Highlight to the installation manager
where improvements are possible and where the deadline can not be met.
Assist, where appopriate or directed by the Installation Manager with commissioning activities.
Prepare, in conjunction with the design team As- built mark-ups as feedback to the CAD Designers after
handover.
Looking after measurement of success such as clear concise daily reports, Zero incidents - accidents on site,
Zero Non-Conformance reports, installation running to schedule or ahead of schedule and successful
Handover of product.

Competencies Strong installation and understanding skills in communication discipline.
Efficient scheduling, look ahead planning, tasking and other generated reports.
Ability to coordinate and multi-task in demanding engineering or tight situations.
Proven skills for installation of communication equipments, cable laying , testing and termination.
Wide previous- knowledge and experience in redaing and understanding designs, installation principles.
Strong supervisory skills with applied HSE practices.
Experienced in working in a multi-cultural envisonment.
Microsoft office applications for reporting and documentations.
Experience Minimum of 15 years work experience on communication installation project or similar .
Degree educated or similar in communications or electrical engineering.
Others Excellent English communication skills.
