Expert knowledge of one or more E&M engineering disciplines with a broad knowledge of
all other E&M disciplines
* Extensive knowledge of design, construction, operation, maintenance and assessment of
Mechanical and Electrical systems of varying complexity within a transport environment
* Expert knowledge of relevant TfL, National, International standards and Codes of Practice
in Electrical and/or Mechanical engineering. E.g. BS EN 7671, DMRB, Building Regs,
relevant CIBSE, BSRIA and HVCA guides etc
* A Member and Ideally working towards Fellowship of the Chartered Institution of Building
Services Engineers or other relevant internationally recognised institution.
* Expert knowledge of Health, Safety and Environment considerations applicable to E&M
Assets, e.g. CDM, Electricity at works regulations, management of health & safety at
work regulations, L8 ACOP, F Gas regulations, pressure systems safety directive, water
regulations, Gas safety regulations etc.
