Engineer

Location: Bristol

Duration: 1 month

Rate: £300-320 per day Umbrella/PAYE

My client is currently looking for a Site Engineer to join their team on a major rail project out of the Bristol area. The engineer will come on board and be tasked with helping to pull together the engineering documentation for this part of the project for a month long blockade.

Responsibilities for the Site Engineer:

• Write and Approve method statements and risk assessments and ensure they are being followed throughout the works.
• Ensure the Inspection and Test Plans, and Quality Check Sheets are completed as soon as the checks can be completed.
• Liaise with different areas of the team to
• Ensure all permits ready for site work to commence.
• Drive construction phase of the project
• Ensure all work complies with quality, safety and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedures.
• Read and review construction drawings.
• Liaise with other Sections to ensure a smooth flow of work.
• Manage Quality & Environmental plans on site.

Requirements for the Site Engineer:

• Competent at producing engineering documentations such as ITPs, RAMS, Construction plans etc.
• Able to produce and explain accurate plans and drawings.
• Previous experience in Heavy Civils, Groundworks, Tunnelling, Earthworks and Rail
• PTS Required
• At least 3 years' experience in a similar position
