The Engineering Director will:

• Drive Engineering activities across the whole route with responsibility for all engineering disciplines
• Be accountable for the development of processes, definition of system requirements and management of associated data related to Engineering
• Develop and manage policies and standards for all aspects of the railway.
• Be responsible for compliance with Engineering policies, standards and safety.
• Be responsible for technical engagement with Network Rail
• Oversee the integration of the infrastructure and systems across the EWR scheme and interfaces with Asset Holders.
• Be responsible for development and implementation of systems engineering policies and practices.
• Lead asset management and maintenance strategies.
• Identify and advise on innovative engineering solutions.
• Support EWR Co.’s commitment to customer service and an excellent customer journey
• Champion and act as a role model for EWR Co.’s vision and values, behaving in ways that are in alignment with EWR Co.’s Ways of working.
• Promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
