Eplan Electrician Engineer (Based in London)

London Based Eplaner with at least 5 years experience

Education: A minimum of a degree / HND / HNC or compatible.
Qualification: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering
Experience: All applicants should have previous experience designing control panels, using Eplan (P8). Minimum 3 to 5 years experience is essential.

ROLE
The role of the Electrical Design Engineer is to be responsible for the successful design and delivery of hardware across the full delivery lifecycle.

Key duties and responsibilities include:
* Design the electrical systems wiring diagrams, schematics and panel layouts in ePLAN P8.
* Writing O&M documentation.
* Working in a quality controlled environment to ISO9001
* Produce engineering parts lists
* design bespoke control/IT panels
* Understanding of Machinery Directive, Low-Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Directive, Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive, BS 7671 Wiring regulations, Railway standards.
* Background in designing control panels/electrical panels

ABOUT YOU
Qualifications & Skills:
* A minimum of a degree / HND / HNC in a technical / engineering /preferably including some control systems/IT engineering training and / or experience
* Previous experience in some or all of the areas covered by the key duties listed above is required. Please provide details of your experience when responding with your CV
Person:
* A genuine interest in taking on a delivery role including a requirement to work to tight timescales
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrable professional and personal credibility.
* Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision when required.
