Job Title: Field Based Electronics Technician

Location: Derby

Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: Permanent

Our client

Our client is a rapidly growing technology company that operates in the railway industry, they specialise in providing innovative on-train systems which are leading the way to developing improved railway maintenance activities.

You will be responsible for:

• Installation of on-train systems

• Maintenance of installed on-train systems

• Producing installation methods instructions

• Hardware Testing

• Electronic configurations

• Systems testing, including but not limited to using Oscilloscopes, Flukes, Meggers.

• Liaising with customers on product feedback to maintain continued levels of excellence

General requirements:

• HNC in Electronic Engineering

• Mechanical or electrical installation experience

• Experience in electronic diagnostic and repairs

• UK Driving license

• Happy with traveling and staying away

• Basic understanding of Linux would be beneficial
