Field Support Operative / Auditor

Are you an experienced Field Support Operative in the Rail industry who has worked on high volumes of railway component inventory levels and systemic movements?

This is a field-based role, you will work across storage facilities in the South East including Anglia, Sussex, and Kent. A company vehicle will be provided.

Essential Skills

• High degree of Numerical and analytical skills
• Interpersonal, Influencing, communication and organisational skills
• Have a good knowledge of Railway products
• Experience on ORACLE

The Role

• Verify Rail Component inventory levels and perform systemic movements
• Capture data to reflecting storage facilities safely management in accordance with company legislation
• Provide reports on non-compliance and offer support on areas of improvement
• Provide communication on upcoming audits
• Perform site safety inspections prior to audit
• Support safe storage of materials, offering expert advice and guidance, adopting the Life Saving Rules, and utilising the Close Call reporting mechanism
• Chair post audit closure meetings to discuss inventory discrepancies, COSHH, DSEAR and HSE Non-compliance
