This freight leasing organization are looking for an ambitious rolling stock engineer looking for that next career step into management within the next 12 months.
Reporting directly to the Technical Director you will be responsible for the safe, efficient customer operation of the company fleet of rolling stock. Based from home you will be self-motivated and self-disciplined with a solid understanding of all aspects of rail but with particular emphasis on freight and wagons. Responsible for all aspects of the maintenance and repair process you will cover fault finding and investigations of the fleet to component level and effectively be managing the day to day availability of customer fleets.
It is essential that you have engineering experience within a rolling stock environment with freight experience a real advantage.
Able to work autonomously from home, self-driven and self-disciplined
Ambitious to move into a management role within 12-18 months
Confident dealing with customers face to face to analyse issues and make recommendations based on your technical experience and expertise of rolling stock.
