TXM Recruit are working with a TOC in the West Midlands to recruit a Fleet Engineer, this post would suit someone from a railway graduate scheme with 4 + years experience.

Purpose of Job & Principal Accountabilities
- Manage the process of Engineering Change with the Train Service Provider and Lessor throughout; inclusive of scrutinising of requests for change
- Ensure that accurate records of train configuration are maintained by the Train Service Provider.
- Ensure that regular review meetings are held with the Train Service Provider.
- Ensure that safety issues are being captured effectively and managed appropriately.
- Support the Fleet & Contract Manager with identifying and developing business cases to improve performance by enhancing fleet reliability.
- Support the Fleet & Contract Manager with identifying and developing business cases to optimise maintenance activities and extract best value from fleet operation.
- Deputise for all professional engineering matters.
- Participate in Fleet On Call.
- Any other duties required which are appropriate to the post.
Essential
- Post Holder must have Chartered Engineer status or be working towards it.
- Degree Qualified
- Previous experience of Railway Vehicle technical issue or depot management.
- Personal Track Safety Awareness (TOC PTS Certification to be provided on commencement).
