A Site Investigation Contractor is currently looking to recruit a Ground Investigation Engineer to join their team based in West Yorkshire. Assisting with site investigation works across the UK on a number of exciting projects you will contribute towards an effective and timely project delivery. Your responsibilities will include soil and rock logging to current industry standards, intrusive ground investigations as well as producing high quality reports on collated data. Liaison with the Client, subcontractors and other project teams will also be required.

With previous experience of working within the ground investigation industry, including trial pitting and site supervision, you will have a basic understanding of engineering geology and good knowledge of the principal soil and rock strata encountered in the UK. Holding a degree in Geology, Civil Engineering or a related discipline is essential, whereas an MSc qualification in Geotechnical/ Civil Engineering would be beneficial. A good communicator, with strong project management skills and the ability to follow instructions, you will work well within a team setting and will be flexible to work nationally or internationally as required. Must have valid UK driving licence.
