We have a new opportunity for an IT Support Assistant / Technician to join Bridgeway Consulting at our head office in Nottingham.

Role

To assist in day to day operations of all IT systems and user support, you will be tasked with ensuring that the company computer and telephony systems run smoothly and with minimal interruption.

Key Accountabilities

• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners.

• Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades.

• Talking to clients and end users to determine the nature of problems.

• Responding to system breakdowns.

• Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware issues.

• Repairing (where possible) equipment and replacing parts.

• Supervising junior staff.

• Checking computer equipment for electrical safety.

• Maintaining records of software licenses.

• Managing stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies.
