A vacancy currently exists for an Electrician to work as part of an inspection team carrying out the inspection & reporting of UK Power Networks assets within privately owned / third party multi occupied building intakes.

UK Power Networks have assets (cut outs, riser & lateral cabling) within privately owned multi occupied buildings, that require a survey to report on - access requirements, condition of the asset/s & identify / confirm the UK Power Networks equipment. The inspector will be supplied a van & fuel card to undertake the inspections & be required to work with a (supplied) tough book. Work will be issued to the Inspector via the tough book & UK Power Networks IT systems, which the inspectors will require uploading & updating back onto the UK Power Networks systems.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2
• NVQ3 or AM2
• City & Guilds 2366 - Level 3 Electrical Installation
• City & Guilds 2391 - Test and Inspection
• Hold full driving licence.
• DBS check
• Medical & Drugs and Alcohol screening.
• Health, Safety and Environment Awareness
• Computer literate – be able to use Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Microsoft Teams
• Demonstrate honesty and integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read drawings and understand content.
• Excellent organisation & planning skills.
