SEMP was established in 2015 with a vision to transform the performance of infrastructure projects by applying a systems approach to delivery. We partner with infrastructure owners and delivery organizations in the UK, Canada and internationally to reduce the risks associated with complex projects.

The opportunity

As part of our significant investment in innovation, we are currently developing the next step change in infrastructure delivery solutions. You will directly support the directors in defining and delivering our innovation portfolio.

This is a great opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in applying a systems approach to infrastructure delivery while contributing to the development of future industry-leading solutions.

You will also receive hands-on experience working on projects and bids, developing your systems engineering, project management, commercial management, and consultancy skills. You will be working with some of the top experts globally in the application of systems engineering to infrastructure projects.

What we are looking for:

• A recent graduate looking for a first or next role with up to 2 years’ experience.
• You will have the equivalent of graduation from a 4-year full-time bachelor's program in applied science, engineering, geoscience, science, or technology from an accredited university.
• Eligible and interesting in working towards a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation.
• Curiosity in researching and developing new ideas.
• Ability to translate theory into actionable solutions.
• A focus on delivering value.
• Empathy in understanding the problems others are facing.
• Collaborative spirit and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to challenge others and be challenged.
• Ambition to progress career and grow with the company.

Rather than a one size fits all approach, we will tailor a development programme specifically for you. We also provide full support in your journey to Professional Registration.
