A leading main contractor to the UK Rail Sector have an additional requirement for skilled, focused and committed Junior P-Way Engineer to join their project delivery teams currently engaged lengthy Track renewals and installations to be based in London.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior P-Way Engineer you the Junior P-Way Engineer will be required to assist with the survey, design and setting out of the track renewals. This will include the learning of monitoring for technical compliance, accurate recording and delivery of As-built. Production and delivery of day plans, control of project resources including materials and plant will be part of the Senior P-Way Engineers requirements, but you assist with helping resolve any technical issues.

Requirements:

• The successful Junior P-Way Engineer will have had previous experience in a similar role as a Site Engineer / Surveyor and or a developed Trackman / Junior P-Way Engineer who will be competent in surveying, track design review, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• As the Junior P-Way Engineer, you will be familiar with Tamping and Stressing requirements and would have had working exposure to these task requirements
• You will hold a valid PTS, may have Stressing levels competencies, Tamping appreciation and able to Set-out using Trimble / Leica TS
