Job title: Measurements Engineer - Noise & Vibration
Salary: £60-65kpa
Location: Surrey
The Company:
This leading engineering consultancy are looking for an experienced trials and measurement engineer to plan and execute test programmes for clients within the rail, marine and O&G sectors.
You will predominantly be focusing on Vibration & Noise testing, but the labs also cover strain, pressure, load and temperature analysis.
Key Responsibilities
*Site based forensic investigation
*Problem diagnosis and developing high level remedial schemes
*Numerical Modelling Compliance
*Assisting clients to achieving relevant operational or asset integrity programmes with measurements
Qualifications Required
*Degree or Doctorate
Person Profile
*Safety conscious and happy with site based work is essential
*Beneficial if you have any consultancy or commercial exposure
*Ideally you will have multi sector exposure from power generation, marine, gas turbines, rail, O&G etc.
*Beneficial if you have experience managing or training junior staff
Skills
*Theoretical & practical knowledge of measurement techniques
*Understanding of issues involved in specifying instrumentation
*Understanding of signal and data analysis techniques
