Personal Assistant

We are currently dealing with one of the worlds leading engineering and consultancy groups specialising in rail, and public transport, who are looking to expand their team by recruiting a Personal Assistant to join the team in Manchester. As Personal Assistant, you will provide executive administrative support to the Managing Director. This role is an opportunity to play a vital role in supporting the growth of the business.

 

As Personal Assistant your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide executive administrative support to the Managing Director and wider senior leadership team
• Extensive calendar and diary management
• Managing emails, general communications, travel bookings and logistics
• Internal & external meeting organisation and servicing, including room & equipment set-up, catering and sending out appointments
• Attending meetings and recording minutes
• Tracking deadlines and deliverables for the team
• Supporting the collation/communication of monthly management information
• Preparing reports
• Raising and following up on Purchase Orders
• Carry out ad-hoc duties and projects
• Continual focus on cost savings and achieving value for money

Job requirements:

• Previous experience as a PA or EA
• Excellent time management,
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and when working with senior managers
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft office applications and the ability to set up and maintain systems
• Good knowledge of using Audio and Video conferencing systems
