PRINCIPAL ELECTRIFICATION ENGINEER – PERMANENT

LONDON - £65,000 - £ <phone number removed> % BONUS

ARM are working with a leading and well known rail client and we are currently recruiting for a Principal Electrification Engineer to join their team based in London.

This position is an industry leading role and will help set the standards in railways in the UK for the future and for today. Your role will focus on the interfaces between the electrification systems on the railways and the rail vehicles that use them. Focusing on the design aspects, ensuring that they are safe and standards are set for the future. This position may involve some travel in Europe also.

The role is based in Central London, but working from home currently, with an expectation of hybrid working in the future with a mix of home and office based working. This will be working office hours and this position is a full-time role.

In order to be considered for this position, you will need to meet the below essential criteria;

• Experience of working within rail engineering with significant experience of railway electrification.
• Experience of railway design within electrification.
• Either a Chartered Engineer or working towards this.
• Knowledge of AC and DC electrification.
• We would want to see applications from those who are either working at Network Rail, consultancies within the field or assessment bodies within rail for electrification.
• You will be either an experience senior engineer or at a principal level currently.

Salary for this position is between £65,000 and £74,000 with a range of excellent benefits that includes up to 13% bonus (of salary), 30 days holidays per year + bank holidays, private healthcare and an excellent pension scheme.
