All of our clients work is geared to provide the best in industry service , and we are seeking candidate who strive to deliver exceptional engineering delivery, innovation and architecture. Your work will encompass conception , procurement, design & assurance.

In your role as a Principal Engineer you will act as a leading figure across multiple different enhancement projects. You will be a guiding engineering for junior and project engineers - and liaise with section heads on crucial aspects of key contracts.

As part of your daily responsibilties you will be expected to :

• Work with sector heads to support crucial aspects of key contracts
• Be a leading figure in the engineering team, supporting development of staff across the business
• Manage a team of engineers and show competence in developing skillset of colleagues
• Through a seasoned career, utilise contacts to help bring additional business to our client.

In terms of required qualifications and experience, our client will be seeking degree qualified engineers with ambitions to become chartered (if not already). We will be looking for experience across at least one of these areas:

• Rolling Stock - Consultancy
• Rolling Stock - ROSCO
• Rolling Stock - Design
