We are currently dealing with a major rail engineering company, who are looking to expand their systems team by recruiting a hybrid Principal Systems Engineer in Birmingham, Manchester and Reading. We are looking for experienced engineers who will be responsible for the verification and management of interfaces as well as providing validation services to clients.
 
To be considered for this job, the candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Experience working with ERTMS technology
• Experience of working with overseas railway technologies e.g., the Dubai Metro
• Have an understanding of signalling systems

 
Your job responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Establishing strong working relationships with stakeholders
• Understanding relevant practices and regulations
• Establishing processes to manage, assess and review requirements
• Ensuring suitable verification and validation processes are in place for projects
• Understanding Systems Safety, HF, RAM and Security
