Randstad are currently recruiting a PWAY Engineer for a project based in Kent. Minimum 6+ months of work.
Important experience
- Knowledge of P-Way surveying and setting out
- Knowledge of plant and equipment
- Awareness of P Way design and software
- Awareness of project planning
- On-site experience
- Awareness of ISO quality systems
- Knowledge of risk assessment
- Knowledge of relevant Network Rail and corporate Standards and Procedures
- Awareness of CDM Regs and other safety legislation
Important skills
- PTS and COSS
- Level 2 stressing
- Raising and removing speeds
- TQS
- Deliver business KPI's
- Trackback with regard to technical requirements
- First time approvals of design by NWR
- Completion of surveys within programmed time
- Number of repeat surveys
- Acceptance of as-built details by the Client
- NCRs
- Calibration certificates
- Performance reviews
- Track quality
- Compliance to NWR standards
- Neat and accurate completion of the correct issue of technical pro-forma
Desirable
- 5yrs+ Technical Permanent way Experience
- Raising and removing speeds (Level 3)
- Computer literate - experience with Microsoft Project, CAD, 3D Design software
