A major railway contractor is urgently seeking a Radio Engineer to join its London based team on a long-term contract basis working on a major railway infrastructure project.
As a Radio Test & Commissioning Engineer you will be involved in test and commissioning of Radio systems on an infrastructure project throughout central London.
You must have previous experience of working on the commissioning of radio systems preferably within a railway environment. You will ideally have experience of GSM-R in Rail. Otherwise you must have experience of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) Cell repeaters/Tunnel Repeaters. You must also have experience of working in the field with Spectrum Analysers, Anritsu Site Master and Drive Testing.
RADIO Engineer
Experience in Commissioning Distributed Antenna Systems
Experience in Commissioning Radiating Cable Tunnel infrastructures for one or more of the following TETRA, GSMR, LFEPA, GSM & UMTS
Knowledge of Neutral Host Systems
Knowledge of EIRENE, JOTS and ERTMS, ETSI, LFEPA, Airwave, Public Cellular, and LU Connect
Experience using TEMS, NEMO, Site Master, Signal Generators and produced optimization reports
Drive T&C activities & Site Supervision if required
£300-£350 per day dependant on experience and skills. If successful you will need to hold SSSTS and CSCS card prior to starting.
