We are seeking a full-time Railway Infrastructure Structural Engineer in Hatfield to work with a leading UK provider of design and build services to clients in the rail and transportation sector.

The company you will be working for is a principal contractor for UK railways. The civil engineering projects you will be involved with include signalling, telecoms and power projects and structural building design.

To give you an idea of how the job will look and feel if you were currently working in this role, these are some of the things you would have been tackling this week:

• Performing required activities associated with projects (investigation and design)
• Preparing, checking and registering all relevant documentation and design reports
• Resolving technical issues on projects and providing technical guidance to other team members
• Working in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design You will also need the flexibility to travel throughout the UK as and when required.

• The role will suit an experienced geotechnical engineer. To be considered, you will need the following:
• BEng (Hons) degree qualification in an engineering discipline preferred, with Chartered Engineer status
• Advanced civil/structural design experience, including five years' post-graduate work in the rail industry, a
• minimum of 2 years experience with Bentley ProjectWise, and drainage, piling and temporary works experience
• Technical, analytical, and numerical design skills and knowledge of Tedds software and GIS technology
