Renewals Engineer in Crewe, Cheshire, Cheshire, United Kingdom
Our client, based in Crewe, is currently recruiting for a Renewals Engineer on a permanent contract. Our client is proud to be a leading international infrastructure group with a diverse and inclusive workforce.
The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The salary rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in the sector and excellent knowledge of Track Renewals Disciplines, Rules and Regulations, HASAW and other appropriate regulations.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
- Assist with the provision of technical support to the Renewals Manager for the planning and delivery of track renewals ensuring technical aspects of all works comply with relevant CRSA, Line Standards and safety legislation
- Monitor and ensure technical compliance on all works, site and office
- Ensure all works are undertaken all works in compliance with contractual specification and all relevant Safety Legislation.
- Undertake all technical aspects of works in compliance
- Assist with and attend Whiteboard / Stage Gate meetings in accordance with CRSA Track Renewals Procedure producing the required outputs to support effective and robust delivery of the works to completion
- Review completed works to ensure Best Practice and Lessons Learnt activities are captured, recorded and utilised in future work planning and execution
- Participate in the planning and preparation of Track Renewal works
- Undertake surveys, planning and programming of work, technical supervision on site, preparation of documents
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of all records required and the production of registers for management reports
- Direct, control and monitor technical quality on site
Experience, knowledge and expertise required:
- Good knowledge of all aspects of Track Renewals Disciplines
- Excellent knowledge of Rules & Regulations, H.A.S.A.W and other appropriate regulations
- Excellent knowledge of both group and line standards
- Good IT skills
- Full UK Driving License
- PTS

Working hours:
- 38 hours per week
- Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
