JOB TITLE: Section Engineer - Crossrail

LOCATION: London

RATE: £300k Per Day

My London based client is currently recruiting for a Section Engineer to join them on Crossrail.

THE ROLE

• Organising and planning key areas of the works, ensuring appropriate levels of workers and resources are committed/available and working closely with Project Manager/contractors throughout: maintaining strict adherence to all aspects of work and achieving time-sensitive target to set budget.
• Supervising site engineers & subcontractors and viewing all works completed to assess and plan a schedule of work on a daily basis: Working to safety requirements at all times by ensuring close and regular, face-to-face interaction with the work force and maintaining effective communication channels at all times.
• Preparing the Method Statements, Task Briefings, Permits, Four week look Ahead Programme, Risk assessment, Material Compliance Record (MCR) , ITPs, Certifications and Raising RFI , TQ, NCR
• Preparing Health and Safety file
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and the design team
• Providing comprehensive QA checks & Redline drawing.
• Ordering materials and receiving goods deliveries; ensuring all related information is clearly and accurately logged and then stored for distribution later on - designing and planning necessary logistics solutions and writing site daily diary.
• Attending regular meetings with contractors and managers to enable the smooth continuation of work.
• Site set up and compliance with health and safety

ABOUT YOU

Must have previous rail experience and hold a valid PTS
