This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Section Engineer to join a rail project in Wales. As a Section Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and delivering engineering activities, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Rate: £400/day CIS - Digs Included
Location: West Wales
Duration: 10 months, potential to extend

Requirements:
·PTS
·Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
·Bridges experience
·Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role on a rail or civil engineering project
·In-depth knowledge of railway engineering principles, standards, and regulations

Responsibilities:
·Manage the delivery of engineering activities in accordance with the project program, specifications, and quality standards
·Liaise with the Project Manager to ensure that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and effectively
·Monitor and report on progress against the project program, identifying any risks and opportunities for improvement
·Ensure that all engineering designs and solutions are compliant with the relevant standards and regulations
·Prepare and review technical documentation and reports, including method statements, risk assessments, and inspection and test plans
·Manage the coordination and integration of engineering activities with other project teams, including the construction team, design team, and procurement team
·Provide technical guidance and support to the project team and subcontractors as required
·Ensure that all work is completed to the required quality standards, and that all necessary documentation is completed and maintained
