We are currently dealing with a leading consultancy who are looking to expand their London team by recruiting a Senior Bridge Engineer. Within the position you will work within Transport Infrastructure Division and working within a team of 16 engineers working on both Rail and Highway Bridge and Structural schemes. The role is to support our growing workload in challenging and exciting bridge projects in London and rest of the UK/regional offices. The said consultancy Bridge Engineering Division is across 3 offices in the UK and is a well-recognised practice, delivering challenging and exciting projects to a wide range of road and rail projects in the UK (such as TfL, Network Rail, High Speed Rail, Local Authorities, London Underground, Highway England and variety of private clients) and internationally. 

As the Senior Bridge Engineer, you will lead, undertake and supervise design and assessment for various forms of bridges or civil structural assets in both rail and road environments. This would be a technical position in which you will undertake structural analysis and design for a wide variety of bridges, in which you will also guide/support Bridge Design Engineer, Assistant Bridge Design Engineers and Graduate Engineers. 

 
Job Requirements

• Chartered/Incorporated status or equivalent experience/evidence of working towards professional qualifications

• Experience in analytical software packages such as Midas, Sofistik, LUSAS etc
  
  
• Strong design and assessment experience of bridges
  
  
• Experience working with Eurocodes
  
  
• Minimum 5 years experience within Bridge Engineering
